ABE Gives Back to Healthcare Workers
ABE Beverage Equipment implemented a gift card match initiative, encouraging everyone to support local craft breweries by purchasing gift cards on March 27th, 2020. ABE committed to also purchasing gift cards from Nebraska Craft Brewers Guild brewer members, up to $10,000 in total contributions. Participating breweries reported sales of nearly $70,000 in gift card sales that single day. ABE has in turn purchased gift cards from those breweries and will be working with the brewery owners to donate them to healthcare workers all around Nebraska.
“Healthcare workers will need a well-deserved break once we are past this pandemic, and our hope is they can enjoy time with family and friends at one of our fantastic local Nebraska breweries at ABE’s expense,” says ABE Vice President, Adam Kosmicki.
Brewer and Operations Manager at Stone Hollow Brewing Company, Bryon Belding states, "Not only have we been impressed by ABE's superior equipment and amazing customer service, but they continue to go above and beyond by showing their support for breweries across Nebraska. This recent gift card matching program has helped our business considerably, allowing us to continue to serve our patrons and keep the beer flowing. We would like to thank ABE, our friends and family, and all of our loyal patrons for their uplifting support."
Gabby Ayala, Executive Director of NCBG added, "The Nebraska Craft Brewers Guild is absolutely blown away by the amount of support brewers throughout the state received through this gift card initiative. It just illustrates how important community and supporting small business is to the state of Nebraska. We sincerely thank American Beer Equipment for hosting this initiative and are incredibly humbled from this generosity."
